Cinnamon-Pecan Monkey Bread

Make a tasty morning treat in snap with this recipe using frozen bread dough.

  • 1 C. chopped pecans
  • 1/3 C. brown sugar
  • 1/3 C. sugar
  • 1 Tbs. ground cinnamon
  • 1 thawed loaf frozen bread dough
  • 6 Tbs. melted butter

Sprinkle the pecans in the bottom of a greased tube pan and set aside. Combine the brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon in a flat dish and set aside. Cut the bread dough into 24 even chunks. Dip each chunk of dough into the butter and then roll into the sugar mixture. Layer on top of the pecan mixture. Cover and let rise in a warm draft free location for one hour. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the pan and serve hot. Makes 10 servings.
