When my sisters and children were small we camped a lot and had very little money. I wanted something that the children as well as the adults would drink. I love lemonade, but lemons were so expensive, so I came up with this and now Kool Aid makes something like it.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. lemon Kool Aid (not pink lemonade)
  • 1 pkg. orange Kool Aid
  • 1 1/2 C. sugar
  • 3 qt. water
  • Frozen lemon and lime slices (optional)

Directions

Blend all together and pour over ice in tall glasses. Put frozen fruit slices into Kool Aid pitcher to keep cold and add a pretty touch.
