  • Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • ¼ C. parsley
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • For Cajun Bacon:
  • 1 lb. bacon
  • 2 Tbs. salt
  • 4 Tbs. Cajun spice seasoning
  • ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • Optional Toppings
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Onion
  • Pickles
  • Condiments

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a medium mixing bowl, combine ground beef, salt, pepper and parsley. Add additional seasonings if desired. Form 4 equal-sized balls Begin shaping into patties about ½ inch thick. Grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until desired temperature

In a small mixing bowl, combine spices. Rub on both sides of bacon. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Lay bacon across baking sheet. For crispier bacon, place on a baking rack on top of the baking sheet. Bacon should not overlap. Bake for 15-20 minutes until desired doneness.

Place a slice of cheese on each patty. Place a patty on a bottom bun and add bacon, desired toppings and condiments. Place the other bun on top and serve.
