  • ¼ cup thick cut bacon, cooked and chopped into ½ inch pieces
  • 1/3 cup of artichokes, chopped
  • 1 ½ cups of white rice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/3 cup of dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of oil

First steam the rice until it is cooked but remains slightly firm to the teeth
Then add the butter, rice, whine and oil in a saucepan. Stir everything until the rice is coated with butter and until the wine is absorbed.
Finally add the bacon bits, salt, pepper and the artichokes and cook until the artichokes becomes tender.
