Classic Campfire Cherry Cobbler

- 2 (21 oz.) cans cherry pie filling
- 1 C. fresh cherries (optional)
- 2 C. Bisquick mix
- 1/3 C. milk
- 3 Tbs. sugar
- 1 Tbs. brown sugar
- 3 Tbs. unsalted butter, melted
In a mixing bowl, stir Bisquick, milk, sugar, brown sugar and melted butter. Spray the bottom and sides of a 4 or 5 qt. Dutch oven. Add cherry pie filling. Place Bisquick mixture on top. Cover Dutch oven and place directly on coals of campfire or place on standing metal campfire grill over direct heat. Cook for 30-35 minutes, rotate occasionally.
Spoon into small cups or plates. Serve warm.
