Classic Dense Brownies with Powdered Sugar
Serving Size / Yield
- 3 oz unsweetened chocolate
- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 cup flour
- powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Prepare 8 X 8 inch pan. Line with parchment and grease.
In double boiler, melt chocolate and butter. Stir until completely smooth.Remove from heat.
Whisk in sugar, eggs, vanilla, and salt.
Stir in flour. Do not over mix.
Spread batter into pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Toothpick should come out clean.
Allow to completely cool.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar, and cut into squares before serving.
