This cheesy potato recipe is quick and easy! With less than five ingredients there's no reason you shouldn't try it as a side for dinner tonight.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1½ lbs Russet Potatoes, peeled and cut into large chunks
  • 3 Tbsp Heavy Cream
  • 3 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
  • Salt & Pepper, to taste

Directions

Start by bringing a pot of water to a boil, add salt.
Put in potatoes, return to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes..
In a skillet, add oil to the pan.
When potatoes are tender, turn off heat, drain, and put back in the pan.
Mash potatoes until smooth.
Now add in heavy cream, cheese, and butter, mix together.
Season with salt and pepper.
Mix well.
Serve.
