This is the recipe for the classic Mexican mint and rum cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz. spiced rum
  • 10 mint leaves
  • 1 Tbs. sugar
  • 0.5 oz. lime juice
  • 2 oz. soda water

Directions

Place mint leaves in the glass.  Throw in crushed ice, lime juice, sugar, and rum, and muddle them together.  Add soda water and garnish with mint leaves.
