  • ½ cup of chopped spinach
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/4 white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup of cream cheese
  • 1 ready-made pie crust

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Butter a medium skillet, then add the spinach and onions. Cook until the spinach is wilted and onions are translucent. Then, set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, milk, shredded cheese, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and nutmeg and whisk. Set aside.
To build your quiche, cut up the cream cheese into small chunks and spread along the bottom of the pastry dough. Next, add the spinach and onions as the next layer. Finally, top the quiche with the egg mixture.
Bake the quiche in the oven for about 30 to 45 minutes, or until the center is firm. To prevent the crust from getting too dark, cover the edges of the crust in foil halfway into cooking.
Let the quiche cool, then serve immediately or refrigerate until it's ready to be enjoyed.
