Ingredients

  • 12 slices White Bread, toasted
  • 3/4 C. Basil Pesto
  • 8 Romaine Lettuce Leaves
  • 2 Medium Tomatoes, each cut into 8 slices, ends discarded
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper, to taste
  • 16 oz. Roast Turkey Slices

Place three slices of bread on a clean work surface. Spread 1 tablespoon of pesto across the upward-facing side of each slice. Layer one lettuce leaf atop one bread slice, breaking it up if necessary to fit. Top with 2 tomato slices, and season tomatoes with salt and pepper to taste. Stack 1/8 of the turkey slices atop the tomatoes. Repeat layering process with the second bread slice. Place the second layered bread slice turkey-side-up atop the first. Complete the club by placing the third bread slice pesto-side-down on top, gently pressing to help the sandwich stick together. Repeat process until all ingredients have been used up.
