Ingredients
- 1/2 C. cocoa
- 1 1/2 C. water
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 C. sugar
- 2 qts. scalded milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- whipped cream (optional)
Directions
In a saucepan, mix cocoa, water, salt and sugar thoroughly and bring to a boil. Simmer 5 minutes. Add scalded milk and vanilla. Beat with rotary egg beater. Serve hot. Top with whipped cream.
