Coconut Pie
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2 C. milk, scalded
- 1 tsp. coconut flavoring extract
- 3/4 C. sugar
- 1 C. grated coconut
- Pinch of salt
- Pie crust for 9-inch pie
Directions
Beat the eggs and add the salt and sugar. Gradually add the scalded milk, then the coconut and flavoring. Line pie plate with pie crust, pour in the coconut-custard mixture. Bake in slow oven, about 250, for about 30 minutes.
