This is the perfect recipe for someone who has never tried cod before.

  • 1 lb. cod fillets
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 Tbs. white wine
  • 2 Tbs. fish stock
  • 2 Tbs. butter

Butter skillet and add fillets in a single layer. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and add wine and fish stock. Cover skillet, place over very low flame and cook 5 minutes. Baste fillets and cook 5 minutes longer. Remove and place on serving dish. Add butter to pan gravy and pour over fish.
