Serving Size / Yield
- 1 envelope (1 tablespoon) unflavored gelatin
- ¼ C. cold water
- 2 eggs, separated
- ½ C. sugar
- ¼ tsp. salt
- ½ C. milk
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- ½ C. very strong black coffee
- 1 C. Voskos Greek yogurt
Soften the gelatin in the water. Beat the egg yolks in the top part of a double boiler. Add ¼ cup of the sugar and the salt. Gradually stir in the milk.
Cover over hot water, until thickened, stirring constantly.Add the gelatin and stir until it is completely dissolve.
Stir in the vanilla extract and coffee and chill until slightly thickened.
Beat the egg whites until stiff. Gradually beat in the remaining sugar.
Fold into the gelatin mixture, then fold in the yogurt.
Line dessert glasses with the ladyfingers.
Spoon the gelatin mixture into the glasses.
Cover and chill until firm.
