Cold-Tamer Tea

This tasty drink helps ease a sore throat and shorten the duration of a cold.

Ingredients

  • 4 C. pure water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 Tbs. fresh minced ginger
  • 1 Tbs. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 Tbs. dried chamomile flowers
  • 1 Tbs. dried peppermint leaf

Directions

Bring all ingredients to a simmer over medium-high heat for 10 minutes. Strain into a large glass jar. Drink 1 C., hot tea every few hours.

Yield: 4 cups
