Cooked Salad Dressing
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs. cornstarch
- 2 Tbs. sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- ½ tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. paprika
- ½ C. water
- 1 Tbs. vinegar
- ¼ C. margarine
- 2/3 C. skim milk or buttermilk
Directions
Mix together cornstarch, sugar, mustard, salt and paprika. Add water and cook over low heat, stirring until thickened. Stir in vinegar. Blend in margarine and gradually add milk. Stir until creamy. Store and use as needed.
Yield 1 ½ C.
