You don’t need to leave your house for tasty egg rolls, and I’m not talking about delivery. These crunchy egg rolls are just like you like them, full of veggies and bold flavors. Serve these with your favorite dipping sauce and enjoy!

  • 1 pkg. (25 7 in.) egg roll wrappers
  • 2 C. shredded cabbage
  • ¾ C. carrots, shredded
  • 2 Tbs. soy sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbs. sesame oil
  • 3 tsp. garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. ginger, ground
  • 1 C. peanut oil

Combine the cabbage and carrots in a large bowl. In a skillet on medium-high heat, saute the garlic with a tsp. Of oil and add in the sesame oil, ginger, and soy sauce. Combine this mixture with the cabbage and carrots. Take the egg roll papers and fill the middle with a scoop of the cabbage mixture and roll them tight, brushing egg wash on the outside to keep them together. Heat the oil in a large skillet and fry the egg rolls for about 5 minutes on each side until they’re golden-brown.
