  • 2 tsp. yeast
  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 2 tbsp. margarine, melted

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Mix water and yeast, stir until yeast is dissolved. Let yeast rise for about 40 minutes. Mix water and baking powder, stir thoroughly. When yeast has risen, break off pieces of dough and begin shaping them into a pretzel shape. Dip into baking powder mixture. Place pretzels on a baking sheet and toss in oven for about 12 minutes, or until golden brown.
