  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 2 C. hot water
  • 3 T. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 4 C. flour
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
  • 1 T. onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 4 oz. Canadian bacon, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 ½ C. mushrooms, chopped
  • 1 (3 oz.) can sliced black olives, drained and rinsed
  • 4 C. mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ C. Parmesan cheese, grated

In a large bowl, combine water and dry yeast until dissolved. Add in oil, salt, sugar, and about half of your flour. Either use a mixer with a dough hook or knead with your hands, gradually adding in remaining flour until smooth. If dough is too sticky, add as much additional flour as you need. Cover and set aside for about 20 minutes. In a separate bowl, Whisk together tomato sauce, onion powder, salt, pepper, and oregano until well combined. Roll out dough for two pizzas and bake them each for 15 minutes. Spread on sauce, and add your toppings, and bake for an additional 15 minutes until cheese is golden.
