Copycat Buca di Beppo Mozzarella Caprese
Serving Size / Yield
- 5 oz. mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 2 tomatoes, cut into wedges
- 1 roasted red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 roasted yellow bell pepper, sliced
- 2 Tbs. basil, chopped
- 10 basil leaves
- 1 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 tsp. garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp. oregano
- black peppercorns
- Lay the sliced mozzarella down center of a platter.
- Place the tomato wedges on one side of thr platter and alternating red and yellow roasted pepper slices on the other side.
- Mix together olive oil, garlic and oregano and drizzle over the entire platter.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped fresh basil and fresh basil leaves.
