  • 6 boneless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 1 C. buttermilk
  • 1 C. flour
  • 1 C. seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 ½ tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 qt. oil, for frying

Mix the milk, egg, and garlic powder in a large gallon bag. Places the chicken strips in and marinate for 2 hours. In another bag, combine the flour, breadcrumbs, salt, and baking powder. Remove the strips from the milk bag and place them in the flour bag and shake. Heat the oil in a large skillet on medium-high heat. Fry the chicken until it’s golden brown.
