Begin this recipe by setting your chicken tender in a large re-sealable bag along with the pickle juice. Let marinate for a minimum of four hours before cooking.

Once your meat has marinated, discard the juice and pat the chicken dry with a paper towel. Next, whisk together the milk and egg in a small bowl. Combine the flour, sugar, paprika, salt, pepper, basil, garlic powder, onion powder, and celery powder in a separate bowl.

Pour your oil about one fourth inch deep in a large Dutch oven or skillet over medium heat. Once your oil has reached 350 to 375 degrees, you are ready to fry.

Begin by dredging your chicken first in the egg and milk mixture and then into the flour and spice mixture. Carefully set your chicken tenders into the hot oil in batches. Let cook for about four to five minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.

Let drain on paper towels once cooked. Serve with a side of French fries.
