  • 1/3 oz. dry yeast
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 16 tbsp. margarine
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 cups wheat flour
  • 1 cup granulated brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • ¼ cup cream cheese
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine yeast and milk in a bowl. Stir to dissolve yeast. Add 5 tbsp. margarine, egg, and flour. Mix well so ingredients are combined thoroughly. Allow dough about 45 minutes to rise. Roll out dough until it is about ½ inch thick. Set aside. Combine 5 tbsp. margarine, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well. Spread over dough, making sure surface is well covered. Roll dough into a large cylinder. Slice dough to your preferred thickness. Let them rise for about 15 minutes. Place slices on a baking pan and toss in oven for about 35 minutes. While baking, mix cream cheese and vanilla extract to make icing. Remove from oven and drizzle icing over each.
