Copycat Famous Dave's Baby Back Ribs

- 10 lbs. ribs
- ½ C. Italian salad dressing
- ½ tsp. black pepper
- 1 Tbs. brown sugar
- ¼ C. dry onion, minced
- 1 bottle Famous Dave's BBQ sauce
- Rib Rub:
- 2 Tbs. brown sugar
- 1 Tbs. salt
- 1 Tbs. sugar
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. chili powder
- ½ tsp. onion salt
- ½ tsp. celery salt
- ½ tsp. lemon pepper
- ¼ tsp. black pepper
- ¼ tsp. whole celery seeds, crushed
- ½ Tbs. Mrs. Dash original blend salt
Mix all the ingredients in the rib rub.
Coat the ribs with Italian dressing and marinate for 6 hours.
Clean off the extra dressing and sprinkle with brown sugar, pepper and onion flakes. Marinate overnight.
Clean the ribs off and cover with the rib rub, rubbing the mixture into the meat.
Smoke with hickory smoke for six hours, following the smoker's directions.
Grill the ribs for another 2 hours, wrapped in tinfoil until they are tender.
