You can now have fast food tasting chicken nuggets made from scratch. Since they're so small, you can easily put them in a container and eat them during a picnic. Don't forget to pair your nuggets with your favorite dipping sauce.

  • 2 whole boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite size pieces
  • 1 C all-purpose flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Tbs. water
  • 2 C seasoned breadcrumbs
  • Vegetable oil
  • Dipping sauce (ketchup, barbecue sauce, mustard, etc.)

In one bowl, stir together flour, salt and pepper. In another bowl, beat eggs and water. In a third bowl, add the breadcrumbs. First cover both sides of chicken breast with flour. Next dip them in the egg mixture. Finally cover them with bread crumbs. Place on plate until ready to fry.

In a skillet, fill enough vegetable oil to cover the bottom of the skillet and heat. Drop in 8 to 10 chicken nuggets. Fry for one to two minutes on both sides until golden brown.

Place on plate and serve warm with barbecue sauce, ketchup, mustard or any other dipping sauce.
