  • 4 ounces ground beef
  • 1 sesame seed bun
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ΒΌ chopped white onion
  • 2 tomato slices
  • 4 dill pickle slices
  • 3 pieces iceberg lettuce
  • Mayonnaise
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard

Roll the ground beef into a ball and place a sheet of grease proof paper below and on top of the beef ball. Press down the burger ball into a patty so it is flat (It is ideal to use a hamburger press, but not necessary). Next, heat the vegetable oil in a large frying pan. Cook the burger and onions over high heat. Cook the burger for 2 minutes on each side. Place the slice of cheese on the burger so it melts. Add ketchup and mustard to the bottom hamburger bun and spread mayonnaise on the top bun. Add the fried onions to the bottom bun and top with the burger. Add lettuce, pickle slices, and tomato slices to the top bun. Combine the two halves to assemble the burger.
