  • 3 slices bacon
  • 2 slices American cheese
  • ½ lb. ground beef chuck
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 hamburger bun, lightly toasted
  • 2 slices dill pickle
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 1 lettuce leaf
  • mustard
  • ketchup
  • mayonnaise

Place the bacon in a saucepan. Cook on medium-high heat until desired crispiness. Meanwhile, form the ground beef chuck into two patties and season with salt and pepper. Place the beef patty in the same frying pan as the bacon. Score the patties with the edge of a spatula. Flip both patties over, cooking on both sides. Cook to desired doneness. Place a slice of cheese on the patties. Begin assembling the burger. Slather mustard and mayo on the bottom half of the bun. Top with lettuce. Place the two patties on top. Stack tomato slices, pickles, and bacon on top. Drizzle with ketchup.
