Copycat Golden Corral Tangy Bourbon Chicken

- 1 lb. chicken, legs or thighs
- 4 oz. soy sauce
- ½ C. brown sugar
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. powdered ginger
- 2 Tbs. onion, dried minced
- ½ C. bourbon whiskey
- 2 Tbs. white wine
Begin your dish with the marinade. Simply combine all the ingredients (except the white wine) and pour them over the chicken in a large bowl. Cover the bowl and place in the refrigerator for 6 hours (or overnight).
Preheat over to 350 degrees. Bake the chicken in the marinade for 1 hour while continuing to baste every 10 minutes or so. Take the chicken out of the oven and transfer them to a frying pan. Pour the leftover marinade juices overtop adding the white wine. Continue frying for about 1 minute and then enjoy!
