  • 1 ½ lb. chicken drumsticks
  • 2 C, buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. Pepper
  • 5 eggs, beaten with a Tbs. of water
  • Oil for frying
  • For the Flour
  • 2 C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. rosemary
  • ½ tsp. pepper
  • ½ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp. white pepper
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • ½ tsp. dried Oregano
  • ½ tsp. dried Sage
  • ½ tsp. dried Thyme

Rinse and pat dry the chicken. Place it in a bowl with the buttermilk and cover it. Let it chill for at least two hours. Whisk together the flour ingredients in a large bowl. Whisk the eggs in a bowl as well. Dredge the chicken in the flour, then dip it in the egg, and back into the flour. Fry the chicken in a large pot with the oil. Fry for about 10-15 minutes.
