  • 2¼ tsp. dry yeast
  • 2 T. honey
  • ¾ c. pineapple juice
  • 3½ C. wheat flour
  • 1/3 C. vegetable oil
  • ¼ C. sugar
  • ½ C. warm milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 ¾ tsp. salt
  • 1 egg white

In an electric mixer, dissolve the yeast in the warm milk. Add in the pineapple juice, sugar, oil, egg and salt. Add in the wheat flour. On a floured surface, knead the dough. Transfer the dough into a greased baking pan. Cover pan with plastic wrap and let it sit for 2 hours. Divide the dough into 12 pieces. Set the oven on warm. Let them rise for 30 minutes in the oven. Once they rise, brush the rolls with egg whites and honey.
