  • 1 lb fish fillets, de-boned
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 5 ounces whole milk
  • 5 ounces beer
  • 1 tsp salt
  • vegetable oil
  • Chips:
  • 6 potatoes,peeled and sliced
  • salt

Directions

Place flour, salt, milk, and eggs into a bowl and mix until all ingredients are combined
Heat vegetable oil in a pan
Add beer into the batter only after oil in pan is heated
Dip fillets into the batter until completely coated
Fry each fillet to a golden brown
