  • Chicken:
  • 4 lean chicken breast filets
  • 1 egg, or ¼ C egg substitute
  • 1 C. water
  • 2/3 C. flour
  • 1/3 C. tempura mix
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder
  • Mc Chicken sauce:
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Vegetable Oil, for frying
  • ½ head iceburg lettuce, chopped

Pound each fillet with a mallet until 1/4 –inch thick, and let rest.
Combine the flour, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder and pour into a one-gallon sized zip lock bag.
One-by-one, put each fillet in the zip log bag and shake, until coated with seasonings.
In a shallow bowl, beat the egg and combine with water in a shallow bowl, then coat each fillet with egg-wash.
Freeze each fillet for about an hour and then coat the frozen fillets with egg-wash once again.
Using a frying pan or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 375 degrees F, and evenly fry the fillets for 12-15 minutes.

In a small bowl, whisk together ¼ C. mayonnaise with the onion powder.
Toast the hamburger buns until crispy, and spread the mayo mixture on the top bun. Add the chopped lettuce and fried chicken patties to the bun, and cover with top bun.
