  • Sauce:
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • Cheese Filling:
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tbs minced fresh garlic
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomato in oil, chopped roughly
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup grated Romano cheese
  • Miscellaneous:
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbs marinara sauce
  • 1 cup lasagna noodles
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and slowly add the flour to the pan and cook until frothy. Then slowly add in the milk and use a whisk to mix well. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes to create a thick and creamy sauce. Allow the sauce to cool.
In a separate bowl, mix the minced canned tomatoes and garlic together. Next, add in the other ingredients for the cheese filling. Add half of the cheese sauce prepared earlier and mix well. Refrigerate this mixture.
Cook the lasagna noodles al dente and cool it down by running cold water over it. Take a lightly oiled baking dish and place the lasagna noodles at the bottom, overlapping them slightly. Spread the cheese filling on top of this. Once again, place the pasta on top of the cheese layer and continue doing this until you run out of the pasta and cheese mixture. The top layer should be the cheese sauce. Cover lightly using foil and bake for an hour.
