  • Meatballs:
  • 1 1/2 lbs ground chuck
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 C. Italian breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tbsp. fresh parsley
  • 1/4 C. Chianti wine
  • 2 lbs hot sausage links
  • olive oil (for frying)

In a mixing bowl mix together the beef and pork with all the ingredients.  You should be creating a mushy like consistency, but as you keep mixing it should firm up.  If it doesn't, add more breadcrumbs.  Shape your mix into meatballs.  In a large frying pan add you sausage links and then in the same pan add the meatballs.  Flip the link and meatballs over until brown.  When they looked done, drain on a paper towel.  Serve up hot and enjoy.
