Ingredients

  • 5 lb. rump roast
  • 1 tsp. pepper and salt
  • 1 tsp. onion salt
  • 3 C. water
  • 2 cubes beef bullion
  • 1 spring of fresh basil
  • 1 spring of oregano
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 sweet peppers

In a pan add water, pepper, salt, oregano, onion salt, basil, and garlic cloves over a medium heat. Stir the mixture until it boils. Add the roast in a crockpot; pour the mixture over the roast and add the sweet peppers. Place the cover on the crockpot and leave it cooking throughout the day for 10-12 hours. Shred the roast with a fork. The beef will be very tender, and thats exactly what you want. Serve on Italian rolls and enjoy!
