Copycat Starbucks Chai Tea Latte
Serving Size / Yield
- 10 oz. water
- 1 bag black tea
- 2 tsp. honey
- 10 oz. milk
- 1 whole black peppercorn
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Boil the water in a medium pot and add the tea. Let it steep for 2 minutes.
Add the spices and honey, stirring until the honey is dissolved. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Pour the milk into the tea and heat until bubbles form around the edges, about 3-5 minutes.
Remove the tea from the stove. Pour through a fine sieve into your cup and serve immediately while hot. Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
If desired, you can substitute soy or almond milk for the regular milk.
