Corned Beef
Ingredients
- 3 lb. corned beef
- 2 bottles beer
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp. hickory smoke flavor (Wright's)
Directions
Place corned beef in cooking pan and pour in 1 bottleĀ of beer andĀ 1 tsp. hickory smoke flavor. Let beef marinate overnight. The next day, chop up onions and garlic and add to pan. Prepare your barbeque. Use a charcoal barbecue if possible (with mesquite wood chips). Lay pan on grill. Let beef cook for 2 hours with lid on. Throughout the cooking process, pour the remaining bottle of beer on the beef. Serve with boiled cabbage and garlic.
