Corned Beef and Cabbage Sandwiches

- 1/3 C. mayonnaise
- 1 Tbs. vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. ground mustard
- 1/4 tsp. celery seed
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- sliced corned beef
- cooked cabbage
- sliced rye bread
Combine the first five ingredients in a bowl and stir until blended.
Stir until blended, then add one and one half cups of thinly shredded raw cabbage. Stir this in, too.
Once well-mixed, spoon your cabbage onto the bottom half of a French roll (or serve on the bread of your choice).
Cover it with cooked corned beef slices (you can cook it yourself or buy it at a deli) and garnish with salt, pepper, vinegar, and oil to taste. Replace the tops of your buns and dig in!
