Ingredients
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 whole egg
- 1 C. cottage cheese, small curd
- 1/4 C. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 apple, grated
- margarine or butter for frying
Directions
Beat 3 egg whites until stiff; set aside. Place whole egg and egg yolks in bowl with cottage cheese, flour, salt and apple. Blend well. Fold in beaten egg whites. Heat butter or margarine in skillet. Drop batter by tablespoonfuls into skillet and fry until golden brown. Turn only once.
