  • 1 store-bought pie crust, room temperature
  • 2 cups of fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 heavy whipping cream
  • Powdered sugar, for garnish

Preheat the oven at 425F.
Using a 9inch pie crust, roll out the pie crust and arrange it into the pan. Place 1 cup of the cranberries into the crust to create a thick layer.
In medium mixing bowl, mix together the flour and half of the measured sugar. In a separate bowl, beat the egg white until stiff peaks form and incorporate into the flour mixture. Slowly stir the mixture until it is nicely combined.
Cover the cranberries the remaining sugar. Then, pour the mixture on top of the cranberries. Bake for 10 minutes. Lower the temperature to 350F and bake for 40 minutes. Let the pie cool for 15 minutes.
Garnish the pie with the remaining cranberries and powdered sugar.
