In a bowl beat the two eggs and milk until well combined. In another large bowl combine season salt, salt and pepper to taste and flour together. Bowl should be big enough to batter steaks. Season cube steaks to taste with salt and pepper.

Then one steak at a time, coat both sides in flour, then dip into egg wash, then back into the flour. Do this for each cube steak, and place them on a plate. Over medium heat fill a large skillet with about a half cup of oil and let it warm up for about five minutes. Cook steaks on each side for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Once done let drain and set aside.

Pour out leftover oil into a heat safe bowl, not wiping out the pan. Melt butter in pan, then pour flour, carefully whisking to combine. Slowly pour milk and pepper into skillet, stirring occasionally. Gravy should be thick but not paste like.

Fry eggs as desired and serve steaks with gravy on top and toast.
