Country Style Green Beans
- 4 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
- 1 16oz. can green beans, drained
- 1 medium onion, diced or chopped small
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
On medium-high heat, thoroughly fry the bacon to a crispy texture. Remove bacon and set aside. In the bacon dripping add chopped or diced onion and saute to an opaque, or near clear appearance. Crumble the bacon that you set aside. After you turn down the heat to about medium heat, add the garlic powder, salt and pepper. Immediately add the drained green beans and crumbled bacon to the onion mixture. Lightly stir the beans to evenly coat and turn down heat to a simmer.
