Crab Linguine
Ingredients
- 1 Tbs. butter
- 1/2 lb. fresh musrooms- sliced
- 2 cloves garlic -crushed
- 1/2 qt. heavy cream (you can sbustitute with half and half)
- 8 oz. Itailan 5-cheese blend
- 1/2 lb. imitation crab
- 1 Tbs. fresh chopped basil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 box linguine, cooked according to pkg. directions
Directions
Melt butter in large skillet. Add mushrooms and saute over medium low heat. When mushrooms are cooked through, add garlic and saute for 1 minute more. Add cream and cheese. When cheese is melted, add crab. Warm for 2 minutes and add basil, salt and pepper. Pour over hot linguine and toss gently to mix. Serve with green salad.
