Cranberry BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 14-oz. bottle ketchup
- 1/4 C. cider vinegar
- 1/4 C. yellow mustard
- 1/4 C. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbs. molasses
- 1/2 lg. sweet onion, minced
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can jelled whole cranberry sauce
- 1 Tbs. liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp. coarse salt
- 1 tsp. coarse black pepper
Directions
Place all ingredients in a heavy non-reactive sauce pan and slowly bring to a boil over medium heat. Stir to mix and break down the cranberry jelly. Simmer and stir until thick, about 15 minutes. You can bottle it up and it will keep for a few months or use it right away. You can also double this recipe!
