I got this from another group I thought it sounded wonderful! What a different pie for Thanksgiving than just the standard favorites!

  • 1 C. powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla (c'mon--the real stuff, not imitation)

In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and water until smooth. Add cranberries. Bring to boil; boil and stir for 2 minutes. Reduce heat; cook until berries pop, about 5 minutes. Set aside. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Fold in whipped cream. Spread evenly into pie shell. Top with cranberry mixture. Chill for at least 4 hours. Store in refrigerator. Top with a glop of whipped cream.

  • Fabulous recipe. I wish I had thought of it. And it has been awhile since I had added olives ( I like green with pimentos) to my cream cheese sandwiches.

Okay, how do I find out who submitted this recipe? I want to remember them, so I can get more good ideas like this.
