Cranberry Salad

It is family tradition that we serve this dish every Thanksgiving and Christmas. We serve it frozen. With all of the warm, delicious food on our plates, this cool dish perfectly balances everything out making it a meal to remember.

Ingredients

  • 3 C. whole or frozen cranberries
  • 3/4 C. Sugar
  • 2 1/3 C. marshmallows
  • 1 8 1/2 oz. can of crushed pineapple
  • 1/2 C. chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 C. heavy cream (sweetened)

Directions

Chop cranberries; add sugar. Chill for 2 hours. Add marshmallows, pineapple and nuts. Whip cream; fold into cranberry mixture. Refrigerate or freeze.
