Cream Cheese Ham Pickles

This is a beautiful, easy, kid friendly and delicious appetizer sure to be devoured at any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 6 pieces rectangular-shaped ham, sliced thick
  • 6 lg. pickles (kosher dill)

Directions

Spread 1 1/2-2 Tbs. cream cheese onto each slice of ham. Place a pickle on the shorter side of the ham and roll tight. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Slice each roll with a very sharp knife into 1/2-inch thick slices and arrange artistically on a red/orange or yellow plate for the nicest presentation.

  • I make this same recipe with the kids, but I also mix in some shredded cheddar cheese to the cream cheese.
