This recipe provides a new way to serve avocado as a dip. The soy sauce gives it a saltiness and the sour cream makes it smooth and tangy.

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 1/4 C. sour cream
  • 1 Tbs. sour cream
  • 1/2 Tbs. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbs. chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 tsp. fresh grated ginger
  • 1 tbs. lime juice

Mash the avocado in a bowl until it has a smooth consistency – a few lumps are ok. Add the remaining ingredients and mix until smooth. Serve with tortilla chips or crudites.
