Creamy Broccoli Soup
Ingredients
- 1/4 C. chopped onion
- 1 Tbs. butter or margarine
- 2 C. milk
- 1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, cubed
- 12-oz. (3/4 lb.) Velveeta Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread, cut up
- 1 10-oz. pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- dash pepper
Directions
Cook and stir onion in butter in 2-qt. saucepan on medium-high heat until tender. Reduce heat to medium. Add milk and cream cheese. Stir until cream cheese is melted. Add remaining ingredients, heat thoroughly, stirring occasionally. You can also substitute frozen cauliflower for broccoli.
