  • 2 C. fettucine pasta, cooked and drained
  • ½ stick butter, unsalted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ C. flour
  • 4 C. milk
  • ½ C. mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ½ C. Parmesan cheese, shredded
  • 2 tsp. Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp. onion powder
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 C. chicken, cooked and shredded
  • 1 C. sweet peas

In a saucepan, melt butter and briefly sauté garlic. Whisk in flour and slowly add milk, whisking constantly as mixture thickens. Reduce heat to a simmer and stir in mozzarella and Parmesan until melted and smooth. Add mustard, onion powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. In a greased baking dish, combine cooked fettuccine and shredded chicken, slowly pour sauce over pasta, sprinkle with additional cheese, and bake for 25 minutes at 350 degrees.
